Local Agencies
Transforming a community requires gathering like-minded people and organizations with a united purpose. Thus, partnerships form an essential part of achieving our dreams, as we build upon and mobilize community assets and resources.
In addition to partnering with local churches, YU North York also partners with like-minded agencies in North York.

Doorsteps Neighbourhood Services through YEN Our Blueprints program partners with the Youth Enterprise Network to better support individuals 18-34 in entrepreneurial endeavours. YEN is a committee of the local Black Creek Coordinating Committee (a network made up of agencies in the area) made up of entrepreneurs and local organizations that have come together in 2009 to provide support and increase opportunities for young entrepreneurs living in the Black Creek community (Jane/Finch, Jane/Sheppard, Jane/Chalkfarm, Jane/Falstaff). YEN believes that local youth and those falling in the 18 to 34 age bracket have the innovative ideas and entrepreneurial drive to succeed. Read more about this partnership here |
