Our staff team brings a strong, committed and Christian presence to young people in North York. It is this presence that helps young people fulfill their life potential and transforms communities.

If you want to live out your deep-rooted faith in Jesus and your desire to connect with young people, join our YU North York Staff Team. All of our staff are faith missionaries, bringing a team of ministry partners around them to support them financially and in prayer. All jobs require a strong Christian community. Some experience with youth work, small group leadership and programming would be helpful.

Potential ministry opportunities might include:

• Neighbourhood Outreach Worker
  Developing and overseeing volunteer ministry teams in a drop-in setting, or a variety of programs and mentorships in order to meet the needs— social, emotional, vocational and spiritual—of community youth.
• School Outreach Worker
  Bringing a Christian presence to a middle, junior or senior high school through involvement in the school as a community volunteer, providing guidance to Christian students, and possibly acting as a counselling associate at the school.
• Sports Outreach Worker
  Developing outreach programs for community youth that love sports and enjoy skill training and competition; mobilizing volunteer team;, and participating in one-to-one mentorships having a whole-person involvement with the participants.
• Young Mom Group Coordinator
  Leading a volunteer team in providing small group support, mentoring and practical assistance for young moms.
• Leadership Roles
  Some senior leadership opportunities may exist for those with proven leadership and relational ministry experience.
