Developing Programs
Our entrepreneurial and creative nature allows us to continually reach out to youth in innovative and fresh ways. We desire to launch programs that empower young people, develop them wholistically and influence the communities where they live.
Here is a glimpse of programs currently under development. You can also read about our general program categories below:
- Willowdale Youth Outreach

We are currently working at developing a new ministry in the Willowdale area in partnership with Spring Garden Church and other potential partnering churches and organizations. Our first steps are listening to the community, and gaining a deeper understanding of the strengths and needs of youth in this area.
General YU Program Categories
Youth Unlimited programs, although unique in every neighbourhood, tend to fall within five broad categories:
- Our Community Outreach programs find us working in schools and high priority neighbourhoods, running sports and recreational activites, neighbourhood drop-ins, day camps, and in homework and mentorship programs.
- Our Youth Service programs give youth the opportunity to be involved in compassionate service projects locally and globally.
- Our Community Resourcing endeavours provide seminars, conferences, consulting and professional counselling to help parents, families and youth workers develop the tools and knowledge for understanding young people.
- Our Skills Training programs provide youth with “job ready” training opportunities as well as employment placements and to help with life and social skills.
- Our Specialized Initiatives provide special attention to homeless youth, girls involved in the sex-trade, young moms, young leader development and other niche programs.
