We want to hear from you! Blueprints is where ideas come to life.

Blueprints is a comprehensive, fully-support program to help young people launch their small business ideas. You’ll receive in-depth training, one-on-one business coaching and life skills mentoring. We know that successfully launching a business can take up to two years, and we’re ready and willing to walk the road with you.

To showcase our new Blueprints space and welcome interested participants for our next group of young entrepreneurs (program starts May 16, 2011!), we will be conducting a series of open houses! Come on any of the following dates and times:

• Wednesday, April 20 from 6 – 9 pm;
• Thursday, April 21 from 12 – 2 pm;
• Wednesday, April 27 from 6-9 pm;
• Thursday, April 28 from 12 – 2 pm;
• Wednesday, May 4 from 6 – 9 pm;

• Wednesday, May 11 from 6 – 9 pm;
• Thursday, May 12 from 12 – 2 pm.

Last night, the Toronto YU team hosted our bi-annual “Director’s Dinner”. The highlight of the night (thank you, TSN) for me was seeing Tyrone, a participant from our first Blueprints cohort, share his incredible story. It is an inspiring story of a young man becoming confident in himself, pursuing his dreams, and making difficult ethical decisions. It is men like Tyrone that will help re-write the story of Jane-Finch as its fulfills its vast potential.

To launch the next round Blueprints program, we’ll be hosting multiple orientation sessions to introduce young people from Jane Finch to entrepreneurship, self-employment and the Blueprints program itself.

If you are interested in becoming a participant in Blueprints, you must attend one of these orientation sessions.

Here are all the details you need to know:

• When: Call Paul or Meshell at 416.901.1625 and they will set up a convenient time to do an orientation session with you.
• Where: Second floor of 265 Eddystone Avenue (see map below)
