“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me”. It’s a saying we all know, but I’d guess none of us really believe it. So it is with much interest that we watch the unfolding conversation about naming key neighbourhoods in Toronto “Priority Neighbourhoods” (or not naming them such, to be more precise). Much of our work is done in these communities, and those of us who work in them love them, believe in them, and see the ultimate hope and potential in each of them.
